AS4488 Training completed for Austspray Environmental
Austspray Environmental weed control Pty Ltd have successfully had 8 of their staff complete our AS4488 rope access training and gain national accreditation.
Austspray's team specialise in weed control, natural area restoration, native plantings, flora and fauna surveys and more. Equipped with rope access skills they now have the ability to work in difficult access areas such as steep embankments, cliffs, gorges etc - This accreditation has enabled Austspray to successfully tender for substantial new work. AS4488 is the Australian standard for Rope Access work- this twin rope method of work is necessary in any work environment >60 degrees. It is most commonly seen in use by High Rise Window Cleaners. It can be adapted to many situations such as maintenace, painting, inspection, cleaning on buildings or structures or in this case cliffs. AS4488 rope access is now commonly used as an effective system of work it is often less intrusive and disruptive to the work place very cost effective and can position the worker right at the work site where often EWP's and lifts etc cannot reach.
